Ways to train with us
Alongside paying for a course directly, there are three routes that can reduce or cover the cost of nationally recognised training with NSTI.
Traineeships
Combine paid employment with structured training. You develop hands-on skills in a real workplace while completing your qualification with us, supported by your employer and our trainers.

Queensland Government Funding
As an approved Skills Assure Supplier we deliver Queensland funded training. Eligible students pay a reduced co-contribution instead of the full course fee.
- Career Start, Career Boost and VET in Schools (VETiS)
- Concessional and non-concessional fee options
- Applies to Cert II and Cert III Animal Care, and Cert III Pet Grooming
NSW Government Funding
As an approved Smart and Skilled provider we deliver government subsidised training across New South Wales, reducing course fees for eligible students.

A traineeship lets you earn while you train. Available in Queensland and New South Wales, including school based options.
I live in Queensland
You may be eligible for Queensland Government funding, which can reduce a Certificate III to a co-contribution rather than the full fee.
I live in New South Wales
Smart and Skilled may subsidise part of your course fees if you meet the eligibility requirements.
